Enlightened and prompted by the Holy Spirit, we envision to be a strong and potent Community of Disciples, with a fervent desire to be an effective instrument of the Risen Lord towards the attainment of a renewed and transformed society, with a culture uniquely Filipino; a political leader ingrained with Gospel values; a government truly sensitive and responsive to the needs, aspirations, hopes and dreams of its people; and a Church as deeply concerned with the temporal order as she is immersed in the mission of spiritual salvation. |

The Mission
"In the Philippines today, given the general perception that politics has become integral development, the necessity is for the lay faithful to participate more actively, with singular competence & integrity, in political affairs. It is through the laity that the Church is directly involved." (PCP-II, 348) "Our Plenary Council stands on record to urge lay faithful to participate actively & lead in the renewing of politic in accordance with values of the God News of Jesus." (PCP-II,350) |

COMELEC OFFICIALS IN THE PRECINTS REQUIRE YELLOW IDS FOR ALL POLLWATHCERS.
Action: Chairman Abalos issued a memorandum date 13 May 2007 to ALL Regional Election Directors, all Provincial Election Supervisors, all Election Officers acknowledging that the "PPCRV is one of the Citizen's Arm groups accredited to assist the Commission in the performance of its functions & activities in connection with the May 14, 2007 elections. ALL are hereby directed to honor the PPCRV identification cards a sduly signed & noted by the undersigned (Chairman Abalos) when presented by its members." SPP No. 06-140
