RE : BARANGAY and SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN ELECTIONS

Warm greetings.

The Comelec has accredited PPCRV as its Citizen’s Arm for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on 25 October 2010.  Our accreditation mandates us to conduct voters’ education and pollwatching.  It also authorizes that we receive the 4^th copy of the Election Returns and the soft copy of the Computerized Voters’ List, free of charge. We have also requested that 2 PPCRV representatives, per session, be allowed to join the BEI training nationwide.  For the early arrangement on this, kindly get in touch with your Comelec Election Officer and/or Provincial Election Supervisor.

The PPCRV  National Office is providing you with the following:

• Hard copy of the PPCRV Accreditation
• 50 Pollwatcher’s ID per parish – please ask your volunteers to use their PPCRV T-shirts of the 10 May 2010 elections
• 10 copies of Appointment Papers per parish (Kindly multiply this according to your requirements.)
• 10 copies of Pollwatcher’s Report per parish  (Kindly multiply this according to your requirements.)
  
• Concept Paper, with Activities, on the PPCRV Participation in the Barangay & SK Elections

Note: Please implement without fail Activities #1.1 and #2.

I enjoin you to please pray hard that our donors will respond kindly, generously and swiftly to my appeal for fund assistance.  Should the Lord bless us again in this – and I trust He will – then we shall immediately divide among the parishes whatever amount we receive and share this with all of you.  Whatever be the outcome, I also trust that you, our local PPCRV wonder-workers will again, with FAITH on FIRE, be able to mobilize your parishes to do whatever the PPCRV is supposed to do for CHAMP – Clean Honest Accurate Meaningful Peaceful – Elections in your respective Barangays.  Always remembering that ultimately CHAMP for us is CHRIST!
